Another Revolution March is being planned by a new group of Grassroots Ron Paul supporters. Will you be part of it?

The Revolution March on Washington D.C. on October 15th, 2011 is similar to the original Ron Paul Revolution March which was held during the last campaign. People from all over the nation will gather at the Washington Monument at 8am, march down Constitution Ave and conclude at the west front of the Capitol Building. Once at the Capitol Building, special guests will be highlighting the vital issues of Constitutional commitment, liberty, sound money, the economy, the Federal Reserve System, and foreign policy. These are the urgent matters that plague today’s humanity and social order, therefore spreading the message is of utmost significance. The guest speakers are Matt Shea, Michael Boldin, Jarod Fuller, Stewart Rhodes, Sheriff Richard Mack, Doug Tjaden, David Gay, and Karen Kwiatkowski.

The march is an organic and communal effort to spread the message of liberty to a wider group of people all over the country both young and old. It is also an effort to shed light on the Ron Paul media blackout in confidence of raising awareness on these liberty topics which also happen to share Ron Paul’s campaign platform. It is dire to understand that without informing others to the solutions that can be had, the problems of today will overflow into the future and consequently, out of control. We, with a limited government, are the solutions to the problems and our message must be like glue. Our liberty message must stick in the hearts and minds of all who see the problems of today – that is what this march is about, providing the answers to steer our own futures and getting noticed in doing so. One by one, we aim to take the country back and put the power in “we the people.”

Much like the previous march, this is a grassroots effort and in need of funding to get the speakers and necessary equipment to D.C. The Revolution March needs your help to do this. August 6th, 2009: The DuQuoin, Illinois fairground will be brought to life by the spirit of liberty on October 9, 10 and 11 as grassroots activists from across the political spectrum gather for the Midwest Liberty Fest. Participants will have the opportunity to learn from successful activists, hear from current candidates and celebrate the growing movement toward freedom from government oppression.

The planning committee, sponsored by the Liberty Restoration Project, consists of activists who decided to provide the public with an event centered around ideas that unite us instead of divide us. The goal is to empower concerned citizens through the knowlege and real experiences of successful movers and shakers; eveyone should be able to walk away with action items and project ideas in hand!

The well known names in the liberty movement will be paired with up and coming leaders. Open Letter To Justin Williams

June of 2009, the Supreme Court of South Carolina ruled that Governor Mark Sanford can not refuse the Federal Stimulus money being giving to his state. Justin Williams, a third year law student was one of the plantiffs that brought this suit against Gov. Sanford. A June 10th article by Katie Jones from UWire and reported on Foxnews.com discusses the suit and references Justin Williams and what he has done. In response to this article I have written an open letter to Mr. Justin Williams. Below is the link to the article on Foxnews.com and then my open letter to Mr. Williams.

Dear Justin William,

Recently you made the news for your role in bringing a suite against the Governor of your state Mark Sanford for refusing to accept the "bailout" money from the Federal Government. While I admire your altruistic views I want to take this time to point out how your actions came with ramifications that quite frankly I would expect a third year law student to think through. My first conclusion is they do not teach law students about the constitution in South Carolina’s schools. My second conclusion is that some law students don’t take the time to read and understand the Constitution on their own. Had you read and studied this document, a document that is the basis of our country's Government you would have known that Gov. Sanford was doing the right thing and was only looking out for the best interest of South Carolina. You may wonder why someone like myself living in California cares about what you have done and why you have done it, I can only point out that what you have done affects all Americans, not just those living in South Carolina. How you managed to convince your Supreme Court to rule in favor of forcing the Governor to take this money is a quandary. What you and the Supreme Court told Gov. Sanford is that you have to participate in plundering the rest of the nation for your righteous cause. I do believe that those justices should hang their heads low and ultimately the citizens of your state should call for their removal. They failed at their job to uphold the Constitution as you have failed on your job as a citizen. Your actions and the decision of your state’s Supreme Court will ultimately hurt those very same people you think you are looking out for. Their cost of living will increase due to the inflation caused by all the printing of new money for these bailouts and their taxes will increase in order for the government to cover up this hidden tax. Thanks to your actions, the Federal Government will now have more power and permission to continue to plunder the citizens of your state and every other state in the union.

The powers delegated to Congress do not include the funding of state projects including education. I commend Gov. Mark Sanford for attempting to shake off the yoke of federal funding; funding which the federal government uses to bully States to their will. The powers of the State in regards to the lives of their citizens must not be infringed. Gov. Sanford’s actions in refusing stimulus money were in the State’s best interests and, by extension the rest of the nation. Only the residents of a particular state can fully understand the needs of that state. An all-encompassing central government was the last thing our founders wanted when they imagined a free and prosperous Republic. By subverting the Governors authority in this matter you have done your state a grave disservice. You have enabled the Federal Government to have an ever-increasing stranglehold on your state, given them just-cause in their ever increasing spending when many Americans are struggling just to get by. Where do you think this "stimulus" money comes from? It comes from the pockets of hard working Americans who will be taxed even further to keep up with this, illegal I might remind you, spending. So thank you Mr. Williams, thank you for stealing from me and every other tax-paying American just so you will not have to pay for your own education, as a responsible individual should. While you celebrate your imagined victory, just remember that when you finally graduate your earning power will be significantly decreased due to the mass inflation caused by the spending you championed.

I do not know all of Gov. Sanford’s policies but I do know he was right with his decision to refuse the money. He is the true hero. Not many Governors are willing to stand up against the unconstitutional powers of Federal Government has usurped. I would direct you to read both Article One, Section Eight of the Constitution as well as the Tenth Amendment. As you are a law student, the text of these items should be clear.

From this day forward I would suggest you work with-in your state and community to have your altruistic views enacted and leave the Federal Government out of it as the Constitution directs. I also suggest you draft letters of apology to your fellow citizens and to Gov. Sanford for your actions as they will, in the end, have the opposite effect on your state than you intended. The citizens of South Carolina should applaud Gov. Sanford and recognize that his decision was in the best interest of the state and its people. I personally want to thank Gov. Sanford for his courage in standing up to the Federal Government, for his understanding of his State’s rights and hope that he serves as an example to all the Governors of the other forty-nine states. Our Governor here in California is standing there like Oliver Twist saying, “Please sir can I have some more”. Your Governor is standing up saying “No More” -- a statement that makes him the real hero.

Liberty Restoration Project responds to Document released by Mo. Division of Drug and Crime Control/ Missouri Information Analysis Center

Kansas City, MO. March 12th 2009:

The Liberty Restoration Project (LRP) obtained a notice today that was released by the Missouri Division of Drug and Crime Control, P.O. Box 568 in Jefferson City today. This document declares that “Militia Members most commonly associate with 3rd Party political groups” indicating Congressman Ron Paul, former Congressman Bob Barr, and Pastor Chuck Baldwin to be springboards of Anti-government militia groups in Missouri. The Liberty Restoration Project views this document as defamation to a growing “Freedom Movement” that is focused on peace, freedom, civil liberty, and constitutional obedience. The Liberty Restoration Project in Kansas City is a focus group based off of many of the principles laid forth by 3rd Party leaders, including an audit and/or repeal of the Federal Reserve Banks of the United States, and many other topics that are addressed by these leaders.

The document in question is still pending a confirmation of validity, yet when representatives of the LRP have called the attached phone numbers, they have been met with confirming messages stating that they are aware of the document, and that they would have someone return a phone call. One of the reasons the LRP believes that this document is so destructive is because of Congressman Ron Paul’s Regional “Campaign For Liberty” conference in St. Louis starting on the 27th of March, 2009 which will bring in hundreds of Ron Paul supporters and “Freedom Movement” groups. The LRP believes that this is a blatant attempt to stifle liberty and a message that teaches American people what it means to be an American with a voice, and a message of peace and civil liberty. The Liberty Restoration Project is currently awaiting a response from the Division of Drug and Crime Control. The only names listed on this document come in the form of email, and the names listed are: Brandon Middleton, and Greg Hug.

The Liberty Restoration Project also wants to express their views about “Militia’s”, citing the 2nd Amendment of the US Constitution; “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.” Although no members of the LRP are members of a militia, they feel that a Militia is Constutionally founded and have advocated in the past for Missouri representatives to adhere to their oath of office to uphold the Constitution and abide by the 2nd Amendment. Yet the document in question annotates a Militia as something to be feared, warned against, and fought. The LRP wishes for a retraction of this document, and a public apology made, and if this is not met, the LRP has promised heavy activism against their Division and will pursue further actions to correct what they feel is a devastating misrepresentation of what the “Freedom Movement” is about.

1963- The assassination of John F. Kennedy, the thirty fifth President of the United States, took place on Friday, November 22, in Dallas, Texas, JFK was fatally wounded by gunshots while riding with his wife Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy in a Presidential motorcade.

What do these two dates have to do with each other? On June 4, 1963 President John F. Kennedy signed Executive Order 11110. The Order was for the Treasury to issue silver certificates against all silver bullion held by the government which did not already have certificates against it. In all, Kennedy brought nearly $4.3 billion in U.S. notes into circulation. The ramifications of this bill are enormous. With the stroke of a pen, President Kennedy declared that the privately owned Federal Reserve Bank would soon be out of business. With all the theories about why JFK was assassinated, his desire the end the Federal Reserve banking cartel is one of those theories. Many believe that those in control of this cartel did not want to loose their power or source of wealth and had John F. Kennedy killed. Executive Order 11110 gave the U.S.A. the ability to, once again, create its own money backed by silver and realm value worth something. Immediately after JFK was assassinated the United States Notes he had issued were immediately taken out of circulation. Federal Reserve Notes continued to serve as the legal currency of the nation. According to the United States Secret Service, 99% of all U.S. paper 'currency' circulating in 2008 is Federal Reserve Notes. Executive Order 11110 was never repealed by any U.S. President through an Executive Order and is still valid. Why then has no president utilized it? Perhaps the assassination of JFK was a warning to future presidents who would think to eliminate the U.S. debt by eliminating the Federal Reserve's control over the creation of money.

This summer Gary Franchi and Restore the Republic were very supportive of our march and rally in Washington D.C. Gary helped advertise the event in his magazine, his website and his email list. For that we are very thankful. Gary was also one of our wonderful MCs for the event.

Also another big help to our efforts was Revolution Broadcasting. We had a radio show on Revolution Broadcasting to give updates and progress reports about the march as well as running commercials leading up to the event.

Revolution March Blacked Out By Media - Jordan Page

Over 10,000 citizens attend historic protest in Washington DC, news stations absent!

Ten thousand people united in solidarity for a common cause, a common dream, can be an impressive and inspiring sight. As a realist who pays attention to the details, I usually find myself bereft of hope that people are going to wake up and realize their civil liberties are being legislated out of their hands while they were busy watching Dancing with the Stars and washing it down with some Fox News. But I just saw ten thousand people marching down Constitution Ave in our nation's capital, gloriously and enthusiastically wielding their love of the idea of American freedom. Twenty-first century citizens connected to the passions of eighteenth century revolutionaries, while brandishing banners demanding political policy reform, an end to a war, and the impeachment of a president. And one more thing: an end to the media blackout of Ron Paul. I stood on a stage holding my guitar, steps from the Capital building, and watched in spellbound silence an endless parade of people marching towards me much like the Iraq war, with no end in sight, shouting the name of their advocate, and ready to make some noise.

I'm talking about the Revolution March that took place in Washington DC on July 12th. If you were unaware that this historic and monumental event happened, then you are one of MILLIONS who have been grossly under-informed about the freedom movement inspired by Ron Paul's campaign. You may not have heard about the most controversial candidate in the presidential race, or maybe you have heard of him, but think he's "that crazy Texan" or has "no chance" of winning, or that he's incompetent, or a "libertarian." Ooh, that word just gives me the willies!

The Revolution March was a major event, well organized and well attended. The March itself took place down the length of Constitution Ave. in DC and ended on the Mall at the feet of the Capital Building. The line-up included renowned speakers such as authors Naomi Wolf and G. Edward Griffin, and "Iraqi Veterans Against the War" movement organizer Adam Kokesh, as well as freedom loving music performers such as the Jordan Page Band and veteran revolutionary rockers Pokerface. A sea of patriots, gathered together at a major political rally to support the constitution, and it got absolutely no media coverage whatsoever. Not even local channels. This is indicative of the game that news media has played in the stonewalling of Congressman Ron Paul, the keynote speaker at the Revolution March. Dr. Paul is a candidate who has been campaigning against the grain of corporate American imperialism. He has set records for GOP campaign fundraising and has inspired a national movement of citizen patriots to defend the terminally wounded constitution. You remember that old parchment that says "We the People..." on it? Ron Paul is dangerous because he shines a spotlight on the processes and groups who seek to capitalize off the fall of America. Those same groups own the media across the board and have tried to silence his campaign at every turn. He is not touting nostalgic sentiments about how great change is (yet never providing a definition of what that will entail), nor does he claim an exacerbated plan to bomb Muslims off the face of the earth and plant an American flag over Mecca.

We need to be aware that we live in a country where the only individuals who are allowed to be viable candidates for president are those who fit into the picture that corporate interests want to see in the leading role for their own string-less Pinocchio act. People like Ron Paul who speak out against the real threats to our country, (namely Dick Cheney, Daddy Bush and all his Bushlets, and the old white men who control the Federal Reserve), are ridiculed or systematically left out of the punditry and political public conversation. Its funny how the same folks who are making billions profiteering off the Iraq invasion with Pentagon contracts are the ones who own the major news stations and publications putting out a pro-war, terror-threat message while silencing and discrediting the peacemakers and opposition. Actually, it's not funny at all.

I performed with my band at the Revolution March and came to realize how powerful the freedom movement is. It's bigger than Ron Paul is, and it was bigger than the march itself. I'm talking about a widespread movement to combat the rise of fascism in this country through awareness and public cohesion. I remember saying to the crowd that picking up a rifle and joining the military isn't the only way to fight for your country, that I've picked up my guitar and raised my voice against the men and policies that are quickly moving us into Check Mate.

I was inspired and angered listening to Naomi Wolf clearly outline the ten steps that historically bring an open free society into the darkness of totalitarian dictatorship. A process through which America is currently undergoing. I listened in awe to Adam Kokesh, an Iraq veteran whose brilliant oratory about his experiences in combat, his hatred of all things Bush Administration, and his passion for freedom had all of us ready to storm the Capital. In the blistering heat a massive gathering kept their energy strong all day, many having traveled far and wide to attend. It was the first time I really saw with my own eyes that degree of fellowship and brotherhood for a common cause fundamental to our way of life.

With the grandeur of the Capital Building as our immediate backdrop, we spoke and sang about liberty, and the danger that we face as a nation when torture of prisoners is commonplace, when private citizens are spied on, when anyone can be declared an "enemy combatant" by a president at war with himself, and when people are willing to relinquish their rights for the illusion of safety and order. The Revolution March opened many eyes on July 12th, but I realize that the ten thousand plus who attended were those who have already woken up to the impending crisis aimed at depriving America of its democracy. The challenge that we face now is bringing that message to the rest of our countrymen plugged into virtual experiences and self-obsessed routines, so that we may break free from the malaise and depression that has seized our culture. For my part, I'm going to sing about it. And maybe one day soon, Americans will resist the notion that we are isolated and powerless to affect change and the pendulum of a working democratic system of self-government may have the freedom to swing unencumbered

R3VOLUTION MARCH 2008 - We did it!

As we all still try to recover from extreme exhaustion, you will start to see the personal stories of our board and core team appear on our website. The first story, and great summary of the march, is written by Tom Porter. Tom did a fantastic job helping with our new site and the Fifty for Flag Day money bomb :)

On July 12th, 2008 the R3VOLUTION came together in our Nations Capitol. We lobbied Congress, we picketed the Federal Reserve, we marched and we rallied. It was a weekend for all of us to be proud of, as we displayed our passionate call for a return to the rule of law in which all other laws are subservient to our Constitution.

As our moral and philosophical leader has stated over and over, "the message of freedom is popular". This is becoming more and more evident as our numbers grow and Americans join the freedom movement from all walks of life. This was quite obvious last Saturday as there were recovering democrats, recovering neo-cons, military service veterans, libertarians and plain folk all represented among us. Another group that made itself present were our brothers of color. It is wonderful these barriers broken down, and it once again proves that freedom and liberty know no borders, race or religion. This is also a stark reminder of our compassion not only for our liberty, but for one another.

While our strength in numbers has widely differed from various blogs and forums it is safe to say that approximately 11 - 12,000 attended the march. The numbers at the rally itself were hard to discern as many, many people lounged under the trees along the perimeter of the West Lawn, or even further away. Many were quite obviously coming and going, in all likelihood to escape the heat and or find refreshment. Due to security reasons vendors are not allowed on the capitol grounds. As it was brutally hot and humid the extreme weather conditions probably also led to many people simply leaving as the temperature rose. In any event the numbers at the rally probably averaged around 11,000 at the start and 6 - 7,000 after that, depending on the time of day or who was speaking.

In retrospect the march must be considered a huge success. One must keep in mind that this event was organized and financed by the grassroots and was not aided or assisted in any way from larger organizations. GCNLive.com did donate quite a lump sum to help in financing, and to them we extend our deepest thanks. This event was an excellent start on our way to mass mobilization. The timing proved perfect as it kept up the excitement surrounding us - falling almost perfectly in between Ron Pauls' suspension of his presidential campaign and the Campaign for Liberty Convention on Sept. 2nd in St. Paul, Minnesota. Timing also provided a silver lining in the dark cloud of the IndyMac Bank failure. Ironic how just 3 short days after the march Dr. Paul could not only be seen nailing Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke to the wall, but also appearing on 3 major mass media outlets.

Despite the fact that our mass media ignored us once again, let there be no doubt that Washington took note of our presence. It all began with the lobbying Congress on Friday morning. A member of the Conservative Caucus met us at the steps of the Capitol and aided us in navigating the halls of Congress, this assistance proved invaluable. We visited the offices of numerous Congressmen and Senators, looking for support of House Concurrent Resolution (HCR) 40, which would forbid the United States from entering into a union with Canada and Mexico, as well as the construction of a North American Corridor (Superhighway). To no surprise we were particularly warmly received at the office of Congressman Dennis Kucinich. Sen. (AZ) Jon Kyls' legislative assistants also spent over 30 Minutes with us discussing these very issues as well as some issues regarding energy. These gentlemen were extremely polite, informative and even sympathetic to our concerns. They made it clear, repeating numerous times how important it is that we visit our respective Senators and Congressmen - personally. They also made it clear that writing your Congressmen is also of utmost importance, and most do not differentiate from Email, fax or written letter. ONCE AGAIN - WRITE YOUR CONGRESSMEN ABOUT YOUR CONCERNS!!!

Friday afternoon the fun started. We gathered in front of the Federal Reserve Building on Constitution Ave. For the better part of four hours we chanted, picketed and were generally loud. When asked if they had demonstrations like this in the past, one Federal Reserve Police Officer responded, "never this many". At the start of the picketing we were approached by a Law Enforcement Officer who politely asked to see our permit and left with the comment, "you have every right to exercise the 1st Amendment". God knows it certainly needs some exercise in this day and age... One young man had a megaphone and stationed himself at the nearest stop light. Whenever the traffic stood for the red light he enlightened the drivers with creative, humorous slogans and chants. A few were covered in Monopoly money, demonstrating the continual fall of our Dollar.

Saturday was the day. The day thousands of R3VOLUTIONARIES descended up on the lawn of our Washington Monument and marched down Constitution Avenue in a show of solidarity with the principles upon which our nation was founded. A day that provided plenty of goose bumps, tears, and, well... sweat. Youtube is swarming with videos and the image galleries are springing up all over the Internet. Who needs CNN, or FOX or the rest of those clowns, we have US - the people, that is ALL we need. The march was certainly the highlight of the day and most definitely a showing of our passion and strength. Once we arrived at the West Lawn of the Capitol we were treated to a wonderful rendition of our National Anthem from Susan Wolfe, and the speakers took the stage. We were treated to numerous inspiring speeches, you can find a list of speakers we had by clicking "Rally Details" to your left. The days events culminated with the appearance of Dr. Paul - all of the sudden our numbers swelled, and the West Lawn was filled again with R3VOLUTIONARIES. As usual Dr. Paul provided us with the words we love to hear and the crowd showed its enthusiasm for his message of freedom.

Saturday evening at the Holiday Inn Capitol there was a book signing event in which G. Edward Griffin, Naomi Wolf, Thomas Woods Jr., Iraq Veterans Against the War, Veterans for Peace and numerous others graced us with their presence.

The R3VOLTUION March Foundation would like to extend its thanks to all those who attended these events and made them such a success. We would also like to thank the various law enforcement agencies who cleared streets, helped with medical emergencies and who even stood at attention as Susan Wolfe sang our National Anthem. They were polite and kept a very low profile. In some cases it was even obvious that they were with us, for they too must swear to uphold our Constitution.

We will now begin work on organizing mass mobilization squads and planning the next events. While we will abide by all laws and keep things peaceful, we are going to consider the addition of civil disobedience into the itineraries. With a now "veteran" unit of Marshals and planners the next events will allow us to learn from our mistakes as we carry forth the torch of freedom to the next level.

The Revolution March on July 12 was a huge success! Thank you to all of the speakers, performers, marshals, sponsors, donors, volunteers, and attendees. I don't know about you, but I certainly had the time of my life!

The organizers and core team have been trying to recover from our exhaustion, but we do promise each of our individual stories from the event in the very near future! In the mean time, please read the amazing letter that Gary Franchi sent out to his organization, Restore the Republic:

I'm back, fresh from the Revolution March... and I'm still a bit crispy from braving the heat and sun with the 8,000-20,000 Ron Paul supporters...what an amazing event!

Clearly this was the Ron Paul event that he wanted us to organize... my hat is off to the Revolution March organizers for their outstanding performance in pulling it all together... It was an absolute honor to work with these 100% dedicated supporters of Ron Paul's Freedom Message.

While others have tried and failed organizing on such a scale, the Revolution March Team was able to accomplish this feat. To top it off the Rev March team members never even met face to face until the day of the event. That in itself is a testimony to the power of todays digital activism.

In my opinion, this is THE team to work with in the future for Freedom related events, and I will guarantee you that Restore The Republic will have their back in any situation and will support any event they plan in the future.

They are number one.

The speakers were outstanding, the music was powerful and Ron Paul was on fire... he was so hot someone passed out during his speech! In total 9 people passed out from the heat of the day. Thank God the Rev March team thought it out and had a trained and organized team of Medics ready to react in the event of an emergency. They responded with lightning speed to take the exhausted to safety.

After the rally the Rev March team even offered us a complimentary table in their rented hotel conference room so we could freely give out hundreds of copies of issue #7, "The Blueprint to Restore America" to those in attendance.

No stone was left unturned by the Rev March Team despite attempts to derail the event by embedded agents from within the movement.

This event was made entirely possible because of the dedicated Ron Paul supporters within Restore The Republic who donated to the Revolution March and because RTR members support our efforts by ordering Republic Magazines in bulk to spread the freedom message... For that we are eternally grateful.

Pledge Counter Story: After Ron Paul made the call for a "Grand Rally" multiple websites popped up, confusing many people about who was planning the march. Revolution March.com teamed up with RonPaulMarch.com to work on this event. RonPaulMarch.com had the pledge counter so we directed people there and linked the pledge counter to our site. After collecting nearly 15,000 names, the RonPaulMarch site shut down with no explanation. We lost touch with the people running the site, and we lost the pledge counter. We have yet to regain contact with them. It took a while for us to develop the technology to create a new counter, but now it is up and running and ready to get ticking! www.revolutionmarch.com

Commemorative ticket: When you pledge, you will do more than show the non-believers the size of event, you will also be able to get our commemorative ticket. The Freedom Tour musicians are now playing to crowds of freedom lovers all over the nation. Currently on their way to Salt Lake City, the guys are excited to be reinvigorating meetups and drawing fresh faces into the cause of freedom and liberty. They are about half way through their tour. There are many dates left to go, Salt Lake City, UT, Boulder, CO, And a dozen more as they push back toward the East Coast. The Freedom Tour band featuring Marc Scibilia is also performing at the July 12 Revolution March in Washington DC.

Award winning Nashville film-maker and fellow liberty lover was honored to be asked to follow the tour and document it. Israel Anderson, Director of the tour organized a $15,000 loan from Larry Lepard, the same patriot that purchased the full-page ad for Ron Paul in USA Today. That ad alone cost $80,000 btw. The Revolution Continues

Ron Paul has come to mean so much to the Revolution that he inspired, that it is understandable that his followers might be discouraged that he ended his presidential campaign. However, it is truly a mistake to see this as the end of the Revolution. Nothing could be further from the truth. With the primaries over, there is nothing more to do with the presidential campaign, but there is plenty more to do with this Revolution. Ron Paul suspended on campaign so he could pursue another - the Campaign for Liberty. He said in an interview on Friday that his status as a presidential candidate was limiting the scope of activity he could be involved in to further the cause of freedom. We have confirmation from Dr. Paul’s campaign staff that FEC regulations prohibited him from promoting the D.C. March because he was a presidential candidate. Ron Paul has said many times that the Revolution is “about the message, not the man.” He has been fighting this fight as a United States Congressman for over 30 years, and has no intention of stopping now. A New Beginning

Ron Paul announced yesterday that he is ending his campaign for the Republican nomination for President. However, as any Ron Paul supporter can tell you, the presidential campaign was only a prologue for the Revolution it has spawned. All over the country, people who have never been involved in politics before have become political activists for the freedom movement. State Republican conventions have elected Ron Paul supporters as delegates. New candidates for federal, state, and local government posts are running as Ron Paul Republicans. Ron Paul’s new book, The Revolution: A Manifesto, sits atop the NY Times Bestseller List. Tens or perhaps hundreds of thousands of people will descend on Washington, D.C. for a peaceful march and rally in support of The Revolution’s principles.

Ron Paul ended his speech yesterday on an inspirational note, "You know, it has been said that armies cannot stop an idea whose time has come. I believe our time has come and to paraphrase that I think we can say that a failing status quo cannot stop a revolution whose time has come!"

In Ron Paul’s own words, the Revolution is about the message, not the man. However, Ron Paul is still very much involved in delivering that message. Revolution March Radio aired its 7th episode last night at http://revolutionmarch.mypodcast.com. The featured guest was Marcy Brooks, forewoman of the jury in Whitey Harrell vs. State of Illinois and featured in Aaron Russo’s America: Freedom to Fascism. Harrell was acquitted of four counts of willful failure to file income taxes when the jury decided that the prosecution could not prove that Harrell was liable to pay income taxes. Ms. Brooks talked about the trial and her experience with Aaron Russo, and lamented the widespread apathy that has led some to call her “the thinking juror.” Ms. Brooks also shared that, since the Harrell case, judges have been instructing juries not to consider the law in making their decision. She encouraged jurors instructed in this manner to “go through the process and let him go,” meaning to acquit in any case where they are not allowed to consider the law.

Deborah Robinet, RMF Treasurer, gave an update on the speaker list, most of which is confirmed. She is still working on a few speakers, but has confirmed Ron Paul as the keynote speaker, Naomi Wolfe, Congressman Jim Guest, Michael Scheuer, and many more. She is actively seeking more freedom-oriented candidates running for office this year.

Ray Powell, RMF IT Director and cofounder gave updates on the revamped website, with a special thanks to Tom Porter, who contributed the slick graphics from Germany. Susan Wolfe, Travel and Lodging Committee Chairman, gave updates about Ron Voy, while Trevor Oyate, March Logistics Officer, thanked the volunteers and is still accepting more.

Bryan Seimon, RMF Chairman and cofounder, also reminded everyone that www.Marchbomb.com or www.Fiftyforflagday.com are up and running to accept donations to complete the funding needed for the event. This Saturday June 14 is the Flag Day money bomb that we hope puts us over the top!

Every Ron Paul supporter already knows that The Revolution is going to Washington D.C. on July 12th for a peaceful march to the Capitol Building and a Revolutionary Rally, with Congressman Paul as the keynote speaker. Like the money bombs and meet-up groups, the Revolution March is being organized and funded by an independent group of Ron Paul supporters, with no connection to the official Ron Paul presidential campaign except for their shared support of its principles. To date, the Revolution March has already obtained over 14,000 commitments to attend from supporters.

Dying to go but not sure how to get there? Not to worry, the Revolution March Committee has it covered. To ensure that supporters can attend no matter what their travel budget may be, the committee has organized the Ron Voy, a well-organized transportation and lodging plan to get supporters from as far away as the west coast to Washington D.C. in time for the event.

Beginning July 7 on the west coast and continuing throughout the week, a reserved fleet of vans will leave from 14 different cities and stop at or near almost 100 before reaching Washington, D.C. Van reservations can be made with a $50 deposit at http://ronvoy2dc.eventbrite.com. Wherever you are in the U.S.A., you can be sure that the Ron Voy will stop close by enough for you to climb aboard. Along the way, the committee has negotiated special rates with KOA campgrounds, and has also negotiated rates for lodging in Washington. Money Bomb- for July 12 march and rally in D.C.

This Flag Day is expected to be the largest funding drive for the July 12th Revolution March and Rally in Washington DC. Revolution Management Foundation, the organizers of the march and rally, have planned a "Money Bomb" to help reach their fund raising goal of over $50,000. Pledges to donate can be made at http://www.fiftyforflagday.com/. This family-friendly event is being organized and implemented by volunteers - money raised will be allocated according to the line item budget found on the moneybomb website.

A "Money Bomb" is a one-day, internet-driven, fundraising technique which has been used with great success by the grassroots movement supporting Dr. Ron Paul's Presidential campaign. The "Money Bomb" fundraising method has allowed the campaign to set single day fund-raising records on November 5th, 2007, when it raise over $4.3M, and then again on December 16th, 2007, when it raised over $6M. The technique has also been used to fund Ron Paul's Congressional campaign as well as various other spontaneous grassroots efforts realted to his message of smaller government and constitutional principals.

Announcement - Expanding the march!

Great news! Our plans are really coming along for the march and rally - we're lining up our speakers and entertainment right now. We have invited several Congressmen and authors (some best-selling) to speak about various subjects. Not only will you have the opportunity to stand up and show your representatives that you are paying attention, but you will have the opportunity to grow in your civic knowledge! Topics to be covered include the Federal Reserve, the economy, foreign policy, subversion of the Constitution, fascism and the impending North American Union, which, of course, includes the topics of illegal immigration, open borders, land confiscation in Texas for the NAFTA Superhighway, and more!

That's not all! We are expanding on the march/rally idea to include many educational and action oriented activities throughout the week! We want this march to be more than just a march. We want this event to aid in producing future candidates, campaign managers, activists, and citizen lobbyists! The only way to effect change is legislatively. Now is your chance to do that:

Wednesday-Thursday: Citizens Lobby Workshops for those who would like to lobby Congress on Friday the 11th

We're seeking 130 more volunteers for the position of Marshal. This position is highly important as it is not only required by law, but necessary to ensure the safety of each of our participants. Marshals will be well trained on the accessibility and location of resources, continuously communicating with participants and march coordinators, and maintaining a peaceful and positive environment in the face of objectors or infiltrators. Marshals must be able to react positively and with a calm demeanor in stressful situations and should be confident leading people in chants to keep the energy upbeat! Anyone with first aid or medical training would be a great addition as a marshal.

We know most of our volunteers will never have been as a march of this capacity, so don't worry, training session will be provided!

This is a great opportunity to make a HUGE difference at this march and will fulfill an important leadership role within our movement. And besides, it should be a ton of fun!

Every single grassroots event is vital to our success; every money bomb, every march, and every rally. We have received many questions regarding our choice of location for this march, specifically, why march in Washington DC instead of at the Republican National Convention in St. Paul?

One thing was immediately clear when this march was proposed; it must be about more than just Ron Paul, and the Republican party. Holding this march at the Republican National Convention would take away from our educational and unifying message through the implication that we were there solely to protest the actions of the party and/or the convention itself. This march is about more than that. It is about freedom and the Constitution!

The March on July 12th is planned to be an an educational event for the participants as well as our elected representatives. Washington DC provides the perfect opportunity for this as it is rich with history and provides easy access to our elected officials and their staff. Washington DC is where you can find your congressmen and Senators, Washington DC is where you can find Ron Paul, and most importantly it is where you can find the Constitution. Washington DC is where we want to be!

Logistically speaking, the DC police are trained professionals who are used to marches and rallies. They understand the law and the constitution and are prepared to facilitate a peaceful event. In St. Paul they are gearing up for riots and providing their police officers with taser guns. There is great potential for unrest at the RNC and it will be hard to provide a fun, educational family event with the potential of being tasered for speaking your mind. With that being said, RevolutionMarch.com and Revolution Management Foundation are supporters of activists such as Dr. King Jr and Ghandi; we practice non-violent civil disobedience and do not want to associate this movement with anything other than that.

It is tempting to cry foul and shake our fists at the many unfair tactics used by the GOP, and to be honest we're willing to support those who organize such a showing at the RNC through our logistics and promotional abilities, but that is not what this march is about. Rather, this march is an opportunity to bring the energy behind this revolution together in a positive manner and to let the voice of freedom be heard! Our presence in Washington DC will signify that we are paying attention, not just to this Presidential election, but to all of our elected officials and the decisions they are making on our behalf. Our presence in Washington DC will allow many people access to historic locations and documents, such as the Jefferson Memorial and the United States Constitution, possibly for the first time in their life. To sum up, our message is about freedom and the Constitution while the RNC is about Republicans and Ron Paul.

Hello Everyone,

The day is finally upon us! WE HAVE A DATE! We also have confirmation that Ron Paul will be the keynote speaker at our march and rally in Washington D.C. The date will be July 12, 2008, the march will end at the rally point on the West side of Capitol Hill. More details on the march start point and march route will be released soon!

We want to make this a huge event! As of now, we have had over 14,000 people pledge to march and rally with us! We want 100,000 plus to be there and create one loud voice advocating freedom and less government. We thank Dr. Ron Paul for being our keynote speaker and we will publish a list of other great speakers in the coming weeks.

Like many of you, we were looking forward to marching on June 21. Unfortunately, this was not possible due to permitting. We did get permits for the dates of July 12 and August 2, so we decided to reach out to the excited members of the Revolution to find out which date you preferred. The results of the poll on our website had July 12 as the preferred date with 47% of the vote. Once Dr. Paul confirmed his availability for this date, it was a done deal! We know this movement isn't about dates, it is about freedom, less government, and personal responsibility. So if that was not the best date for you, we hope that you will do your best to arrange your schedule to support the rest of us who are already committed to that date. We hope that this helps continue to spread the word and message of Dr. Paul and the Ron Paul Revolution!

Congratulations to the Granny Warriors!

On behalf of Revolution Management Foundation, I would like to congratulate the Granny Warriors on the success of their rally. While the crowd was small, the Grannies managed to put the April 15th rally together in record time and even got Ron Paul to attend. People who were there had a great time. Petitions were submitted to Congress, and the goal was achieved. To call their rally anything other than a success is not fair, in my opinion.

Reports indicate that there was some disorganization and that the choice of speakers could have been better. I guess you can't please everyone. Were mistakes made? Sure there were, and we can learn from them and make the Revolution March even better.

As you may know, we have been dedicated to abiding by the laws of DC and getting permits for our event. With many hours of phone calls, conferences, and emails, we finally got two dates. Because this is a grassroots effort, we put up a poll on our site and asked you which date worked best for you. We have also contacted Ron Paul's 'people' and provided them with a proprosal that includes the dates, proposed speakers, and events. We are waiting to hear back from Dr. Paul. Dr. Paul's offices have had this proposal for a week now. We are hopeful that they have passed the information on to him. Unfortunately, it has been very difficult to get people to respond in a timely matter, whether it is the D.C. permiting offices, or HQ, or Dr. Paul's schedulers. We have exhausted every angle we can think of to get an official date.

While we are frustrated, we are not discouraged. Having to work this hard to get a date only strengthens our resolve. We intend to have a very successful march and rally.

After having taken your ideas and adding a few of our own we have come up with a general idea of a theme and the events (this isn't set in stone):

Theme: The main theme of the March and Rally is Ron Paul’s message of Peace, Prosperity, and Freedom through adherence to the Constitution.

Speakers: Dr. Paul will be our Guest of Honor. Speakers will be announced at a later date.

We also intend to invite several other Congressmen and Senators to speak. Among those would be Congressman Goode, as well as some of the cosponsors, to talk about HCR40. HCR40 is the resolution to stop the NAFTA Highway and the NAU.

An MC is currently being discussed- suggestions are welcomed.

The March: We expect about 25,000 people to attend and we will be promoting this as a family event. Our plan is to have a meeting point to start the march, perhaps in front of the Whitehouse, and end at our rallying point. We would like to have people dressed colonial style, and also dressed as our Founding Fathers, to lead the march. We intend to wave posters of the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence, along with various other related banners and signs. We plan to pass out pocket copies of the Constitution and to hopefully organize a picket in front of the Federal Reserve Building at the same time as the March.

The Rally: We hope to have the stage also designed in a colonial motif. After the speakers, we intend to round off the event with entertainment. Comedy and music would be our ideal with perhaps a “Surprise” guest as the finale, which will be heavily promoted.

We will be organizing our marchers to visit Congress the day before the March, and meet their Congressmen and women and let them know that from now on, we will be working to make sure that good legislation is passed, and bad legislation is stopped.

Around 375 of you have volunteered to help with this event, and 14,000 of you pledged to march, even without a date. This speaks loudly and clearly that we, as a movement, inspired by Dr. Paul, are dead serious about making the changes needed to take our country back.

We are all feeling discouraged for various reasons and I'm sure the original revolutionaries of this great nation had their moments too. GET OVER IT!! If set- backs are going to cause you to wimper off licking your wounds and giving up, then you don't have what it takes to fight this fight. The rest of us will re-group and re-think our strategies and come back fighting harder than ever!

We are the grassroots! Failure is not an option. The success of this movement requires us to learn from mistakes and move on, becoming stronger, and wiser, and more effective. Dr. Paul never suggested only one march, he suggested we have many. Multiple marches accommodate everyone's schedules and finances. The point of rallies and marches is to effect change NOT get on TV. The media is our enemy. Their treatment of Dr. Paul is a testament to that fact. Multiple rallies and marches say to the establishment: "We are HERE and we are NOT going away! We will be a thorn in your side until you do our bidding as our public servants!"

As I've stated, we're doing this to effect change within Washington. One way of doing this is by bringing HCR40 congressmen and women together with the movement and by having a "lobby" day where we visit Congress and let them know we will be breathing down their necks from here on out.

This march has to be more than a kumbaya moment and a hope that we'll be on TV. Too many in this movement have that mindset about it and we need to change that. This march needs to be different than any other march. If we are going to make an impression on the only people who count - the lawmakers - then we need to come together en masse and be witnesses to the need for adherence to the Constitution. Be that witness.

Today we can finally announce that we have dates for our march and rally! We tried very hard to secure the date of June 21st with both the National Parks Service and the Capitol Hill Police. Of course, while we agree with Ron Paul and many of you that June 21st would be optimal, it is just not logistically possible due to the popularity of this summer date. With that in mind, we are once again reaching out to our fellow members of The Revolution to find out how best to serve you, and our common goal.

Many are wondering what is going on with the permit and a date for the March. This is a quick update on our progress.

In order to have a peaceful rally and march in Washington D.C. we are required to secure proper permits from the National Park Services. This process is started by filling out an application and submitting it to the National Parks Service. Once they receive an application, permits are issued on a first come first serve basis. When filling out the application several desired dates are selected to hold your event. We requested every Saturday from Memorial weekend to the first of August, which includes June 14th and 21st as first choices.

Revolution March submitted the application almost 4 weeks ago, we have now been assigned a permit number. This is good news!

Even though they have not given us a date this is a positive step in that direction. Please remember they have over 900 applications to sort through at the National Parks Service. We call them several times a week hoping that the "squeaky wheel gets the grease". We hope to have information on a date and location in the near future.

The End of America- Naomi Wolf

Naomi Wolf is a best selling author becoming famous for her book "The Beauty Myth" (1991). In 2007 she wrote “The End of America”: Letter of warning to a young patriot. Here she outlines 10 steps necessary for a state to take control of individual lives.

1. Invoke a terrifying internal and external enemy.
2. Create secret prisons where torture takes place.
3. Develop a thug caste or paramilitary force not answerable to citizens.
4. Set up an internal surveillance system.
5. Harass citizens' groups.
6. Engage in arbitrary detention and release.
7. Target key individuals.
8. Control the press.
9. Treat all political dissents to be traitors.
10. Suspend the rule of law.

This book takes a look at the rise of fascism and how this pattern was followed in Nazi Germany and Italy. She urges Americans to take action and restore the constitution. If you look at history you can see a clear pattern for turning a free society into a dictatorship, she compares these steps to those taken by the Bush Administration after 9/11.

Since this is a grass-roots effort we want to make it easy for everyone to stay in touch and unified. A peaceful march on Washington, D.C. is hardly a new idea. There have been a number of successful marches, going back many years, many of which are still remembered today:

* In 1913, the “Women’s Suffrage March” brought 5,000 women to the nation’s capital (quite a feat for that era). The attention the march received was only the beginning of a movement that culminated in women gaining the right to vote.

* In 1979, one of the most interesting marches, “Tractorcade,” saw 6,000 American farmers actually drive their tractors to Washington to protest the government’s farm policies.

* In 1995, the “Million Man March” focused attention on the fact that blacks, especially males, were ignoring their opportunity to make a difference by failing to vote. Although it had some controversial participants such as Louis Farrakhan, this march resulted in the voter registration of 1.5 million black men in the months to follow.

* On Mother’s Day in 2000, the “Million Mom March,” a protest seeking “sensible gun laws” filled the National Mall with a sea of humanity. This march was undoubtedly named based upon the success (and name recognition) of the “Million Man March.” Those who didn’t go to Washington held “sympathy marches” in support of the cause around the country. Supporters of the “Million Mom March” have remained active, and continue to make a difference in legislation through their various state chapters.

* Of course, the most famous march of all was the 1963 “March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom.” Though few remember its actual name, the whole world remembers its result: Dr. King’s famous “I have a dream” speech. Despite predictions of violence, and some harassment of participants along the way, the considerable police presence wasn’t necessary, because the march was completely peaceful. In fact, some have called it one of the seminal events of the 20th Century.

The point here is that these marches were extensively covered by the mainstream media and, even though that very media has done its best to ignore Dr. Paul and dismiss his massive outpouring of grassroots support, it could hardly ignore a National Mall literally carpeted with Paul supporters. So those who say a “Revolution March” on Washington is a bad idea would seem to be ignoring history.

Of course, there would need to be superb organization, publicity and -- most important of all -- participation. It’s true that not everyone can “drop everything and go to Washington,” which some have put forth as a reason not to have a rally at all. True, a poor turnout could spell disaster, but, considering the dedication of Paul followers, that seems unlikely, especially if those unable to go to Washington hold simultaneous state-wide rallies in support of the march.

Additionally, if the “Ron Paul Revolution” were to effectively organize and promote a “grand rally,” Dr. Paul would be free to give the attention necessary to retaining his seat in Congress, which is paramount. In fact, an extraordinary rally, minus Dr. Paul’s personal presence, would send a strong message as to the extent of his support.

As concerns the notion that the solution is a Third Party run, one need only look again to history. There have been numerous tries at establishing a viable Third Party, none of which have been successful. Even the Libertarian Party, with which Dr. Paul was affiliated, was unable to make a difference in American politics.

Frankly, such attempts have almost always been relegated to the “nut fringe” by mainstream Americans. Consequently, that would seem a poor way to attempt to forward a cause that can save America and implement a return to the Constitution of the United States -- one of the most brilliantly crafted documents in human history.

The last time viable change was achieved from “outside” was when the Pilgrims set sail and founded what was to become The United States of America. The most notable failure of change attempted from outside was, of course, the Civil War. Change must come from within. Those who throw up their hands and declare the Republican Party dead and buried are simply giving up. “Because it’s too hard…” is not a viable reason to abandon a noble pursuit.

RevolutionMarch.com is the first web site to call into action a mass mobilization of support for Ron Paul and the freedom revolution. RevolutionMarch.com was organized February 8, 2008 to effectively coordinate non-violent political demonstrations for but not limited too: libertarians, true conservatives, and classic liberals. February 11th, Ron Paul suggested in his “Go The Distance” speech that a march would be something to consider. Several days after that Ron Paul campaign organized a “March Exploratory Committee”, showing their support for freedom loving citizens to organize and demonstrate. Our initial planning always included the hope that Dr. Paul would be the key speaker at the rally. We are joyful at his recently announced intention to rally. What we are hearing from our grass roots, however, is unmistakable. Such a mass mobilization is in-heredity grass-roots in nature, and the consensus we understand clearly is that the people want this action to be theirs.

The idea of mass mobilization has been discussed in the movement for some time. Following the primaries, these discussions became serious. One group has taken April 15th target, which was to soon to plan for mass mobilization. Another group simply suggested the idea of mobilization with no real activity. Our group got down to business.

We have simultaneously launched our promotions apparatus. The nucleus of this is our network of 100 promoters, nation wide who interface with their local meet up groups and other supporters. They will disseminate accurate, up-to-date information regarding the action as it approaches. Additionally, over 1900 persons are "pledged" to our direct news updates.

Other resources at our disposal are graphics production, programming & website technologies. We have an evolving PR team, a meet up group liaison program, and several other promotional partnerships underway. We currently enjoy support & involvement from Ron Paul Radio, The Free State Project, The Freedom Fellowship and Aaron Russo's Restore the Republic

Hello Everyone,
It has been a week since I last wrote you so I wanted to give you an update on what we have been doing. While we haven't talked in a week we have been working hard to continue to organize the march for freedom on Washington D.C. We have put together an organization with many talented volunteers to help make this happen, and we want to thank all those who are working with us.

Permits and Dates!

Everyone is wondering when the date of this march and rally will be and we hope that very soon we can give you a date. Last week we mailed the application for the proper permits to march in D.C. and we know they received it Tuesday. When we put in the application we gave them several dates and several locations we would like to have our march and rally. Most of the dates we selected were in June, the 14th and 21st are two of the dates we selected as preferred dates. We did this at their recommendation due to the high volume of permit requests for the summer dates. We want everyone to know that the final date, as well as the location, will be selected by the National Parks Service. Once we have the date and location, we will let you know.

The other exciting announcement we would like to make is about the website. If you have not seen it yet, the new design is up and we are now ready to take serious pledges. Please go to the website and pledge so you can see what we have done. Make sure you go through the site and send us any suggestions you might have on how to better promote the site.

When you pledge you will get your own unique site. What is wonderful about this is now you can use your site to gather pledges. This will go towards our total count and will allow us to track how many people each individual got to pledge. The point of each person getting their own unique site is to allow us to promote this in a social networking setup. This will allow people to volunteer to help in many ways and promote that on their site. You can make and add Revolution March Friends, specify your location, specify your travel plans, tell us how you can help us by volunteering for open positions.

Meet Up Group Liaison

At the top of the website you will see many links to other pages on the website. One of these links is "Meet-Up Liaison". We are seeking one person from every meet-up group to represent us in their meet-up group. This person will help spread our message and announcements to the rest of the group as well as help coordinate travel to the event. The meet-up group liaison is very important in spreading this event to the revolution, and in helping us recruit more liaisons.

Revolution March Update!

While we have made significant progress in the process to secure date and permits, we have not received official confirmation at this time. We know that the Ron Paul campaign is looking into this process and as of Thursday at 4:00 PM they have just started an exploratory committee.

We applaud the campaign for it's decision to create a "March Exploratory Committee". We look forward to working with them.

As of now we have the organization formed, and we have hundreds of volunteers and thousands interested in Marching with us. Thank you for your support and please continue to support the grassroots effort and Revolution March.

We have some exciting new announcements coming in the next couple of days. To give you a hint it involves dates for the Rally and March as well as location. Stayed tuned for that. As we talked about in our previous blog the website will be going through some changes. We know that it was not the best looking site, we put it up in less than and hour and six hours later the response was so overwhelming that we had to work to organize all the inquiries. Even Ron Paul supports the effort to March on Washington for Freedom! This is a serious march and we have some real people with talent in this area working hard to put this together and make it happen.

Hello everyone
I take it you have seen the new video released by Ron Paul, how exciting that we put up our site and he talks about a March in the video!
We have started the process to get the permit and finalize a date, I can't say exactly when we will have a date set in stone, please stay with us as we work that out. It is very important to know that if you do not do the permits and make all arrangements with D.C. that the Capitol Police are not going to be very welcoming. So we are making sure we do this right. Beware of other sites claiming to do this. We are serious about this, we have almost reached our goal of 100 promoters and we now have over 600 people subscribed to our feed.

Tomorrow look on our site for:
1. A sign up. This sign up will let you register and pledge to be part of our march.
2. A poll to help us get a better feel for what date is most popular
3. We will have a form with a list of jobs we need volunteers for.

Hello all,
Today was a day to go over the application for permits and other red tape issues we need to do the March and Rally legally and right. We are working on getting a set day and time in Washington D.C. and will post that as soon as it is available. We are also in the process of updating the website with new information and a place to take pledges. We are intially looking for 5000 people to pledge that they will be there on the day and time we can secure in D.C. After that the sky is the limit, let us all work to make this an historical event.
